Thanks for the Feedback and Enjoy Your Pen/Stylus!

We received 428 responses to the 2014 Summer PD Conference Participant Survey and are busy crunching the numbers and looking at ways we can make it an even better experience of summer learning for everyone next year.

And a quick congratulations to the 20 of you who received the happy news today that you won a pen for completing the survey. I would list your names, but don't want your friends, co-workers and families too jealous.

We always encourage feedback and would love to hear from you in the comments below or at professional_development@roundrockisd.org

Second Chance to Unlock Your Immunity to Change - And Earn PD Credit

Everyone wants to change something about themselves. Personal changes, professional changes, and dietary changes are usually high on everyone's list and yet we still struggle. But why can't we make those changes? What is getting in the way? Join us to find out.

Several Round Rock ISD folks were lucky enough to attend the Harvard Learning Lab over the last few years and spend time with many great thinkers and learning sessions. One session though set itself apart from what you expect as a traditional education session. Simply put, it was Dr. Bob Kegan and Dr. Lisa Lahey's Immunity to Change protocol. Click here to read an account: http://goo.gl/KanfmS from one session.

Sign-up for the online course on EdX at: http://goo.gl/OlkCTB and eCampus (4770.27788) complete the Honor Code Certificate program at EdX. It is a 15-week course, with an expected work-load of two-hours each week. Turn in the certificate at the end for 30 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits. It's as simple as that.

Class starts Sept. 16th, but you can start the course a week or two late and still have time to catch up to earn the Honor Code Certificate.
